Sharon Whittinghill
Owner and Operator
Sharon Whittinghill teaches in the Bowling Green, KY area and has over 44 years of experience at the university and private levels. She graduated summa cum laude from Western Kentucky University with a bachelor's and master's degree in music, where she studied classical guitar and other related instruments. She enjoys sharing her skills through a wide range of styles and instruments. Her lessons are crafted towards the needs and interests of the students in a relaxed environment.
Using her decades of experience, Sharon can assess your abilities, desires, and needs. She has a particular talent for blending musical enjoyment with a challenging curriculum. She loves music, and she's excited to help you love it as well!
Patrick Goble
Eclectic Expert
Patrick Goble is the winner of the 2004 Musicians Institute of Hollywood Musicianship Award for Musical Excellence. He's adept at playing 12 instruments including guitars, bass, drums, keyboards, vocals, and ukulele.
With over 18 years of full-time teaching experience and hundreds of satisfied students, Patrick is certain to be able to help you achieve your musical goals.
Eric Kabler
Guitar Instructor
After spending four years in the U.S. Army, Eric Kabler has enthusiastically joined our teaching staff. He is the grandson of David Kelsey, founder and director of the classical guitar program at WKU for years, and also the grandson of Martha, who performed and taught music extensively in the Bowling Green, KY area.
Eric has a passion for teaching and helping others grow and progress with their instruments. On an amusing note, Eric was the first soldier in U.S. Army history to have a full-size upright piano in his barracks room.
